Strategic Partnership with OSHA

Through a meaningful partnership between the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) and ABC Hawaii, we demonstrate a shared dedication to achieving the highest standards of workplace safety. This collaboration highlights the critical role of leadership in fostering a culture of safety excellence across the construction industry.

Leadership's Role in Safety Culture

A truly safe workplace starts with leadership commitment. When CEOs and Presidents join OSHA directors in signing this agreement, it delivers a strong, top-down message that safety is more than a policy—it’s a core value. By becoming part of this initiative, your company contributes to shaping a culture of safety that transforms the workforce.

Transforming Culture & Behavior

Our partnership with OSHA goes beyond emphasizing the importance of safety—it actively elevates safety awareness across every level of a project. This collaboration has sparked a meaningful shift in how safety is valued and practiced on the job site. Supervisors and workers alike take personal ownership of maintaining a secure environment, fostering a shared responsibility that drives safer behaviors. Over time, this collective effort transforms the workplace into a culture where safety is deeply embedded in every action and decision.

ABC’s STEP Safety Management System provides contractors and suppliers with a robust, no-cost framework for measuring safety data and benchmarking with peers in the industry. Your company can be up to 655% safer through the STEP Management System.
