Founded in 1989, the Safety Training Evaluation Process (STEP) began as a safety benchmarking tool and has evolved into a leading safety management system. Designed to enhance safety performance, STEP is tailored for companies of all sizes and industries. ABC member firms use STEP to evaluate their safety practices against 25 key elements through a detailed questionnaire, helping them develop or refine safety programs that significantly reduce workplace incidents.
