ABC Hawaii offers
State and Federal approved apprentice training for carpenters, electricians, painters, plumbers, roofers and sheet metal workers. The program includes on-the-job and hands-on classroom training.
- Classes are held at a local community college week nights and or Saturdays.
- Training lasts from three to five years.
- Graduates receive up to 45 college credits towards an Associates Degree in Applied Building Trades.

The course covers all aspects of the trade, including concrete forms, framing, finish, and cabinetry.
The correspondence apprentices use the same Wheels of Learning manuals that our regular apprentices do, and take tests on a regular schedule.
The program covers all aspects of the electrical trade with heavy emphasis on safety.
Safety in the painting trade is heavily stressed in this course.
Also coverd are spray, brush, and special coating techniques.
ABC of Hawaii has finally gained State Approval for our Plumbing Apprenticeship Program.
